The operators of a store for kids by kids will celebrate the grand opening of this year’s holiday shop with a sneak preview Tuesday.
The Tike’s Shoppe sneak preview, from noon to 1 p.m., will include a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 12:30 p.m. as well as a tour of the store.
The grand opening will be Friday at 3 p.m.
For the 16th consecutive year, the shop will be in the Schuster Center Wintergarten, 1 W. Second St., in downtown Dayton near the Ludlow Street entrance.
Children can do their own holiday shopping with help from elves. Santa Claus will also be visiting during select hours.
