DAYTON — The Community Blood Center (CBC) kicked off the New Year with a blood drive on Sunday.
The CBC is hosting the “Blood Donor Month Kickoff Blood Drive” Sunday, Jan. 2 through Friday, Jan. 7 at the CBC Dayton Donation Center located on 349 South Main Street.

Everyone who registers to donate will get a free Kroger $10 gift card and the special-edition “Counting on You in 2022″ long-sleeve t-shirt, the CBC said.
Type O blood continues to be in low supply, the CBC reported.
