BUTLER COUNTY — The Butler County OVI Task Force will be conducting an OVI Checkpoint tonight Saturday, April 17 in Fairfield.
The sobriety checkpoint will start at 11:00 p.m. and end no later than 3:00 a.m. on northbound State Route 4 at Symmes Road.
In addition to the checkpoint, there will be saturation patrols in the area, as part of the task force’s continuing effort to reduce OVI-related crashes resulting in injuries and fatalities.
State law requires OVI checkpoint times and locations must be announced ahead of time.
The OVI Task Force is funded by U.S. DOT/NHTSA and ODPS.
