Golden was the Bengals linebacker coach for two seasons before joining the Notre Dame Fighting Irish in 2022, according to our media partners WCPO-9 TV.
He also worked for the Detroit Lions as the tight ends coach from 2016-2017 before becoming the linebackers coach in 2018.
Golden will replace Lou Anarumo, who was fired from the position earlier this month. He was hired as Cincinnati’s DC in 2019.
He has since been hired by the Indianapolis Colts defensive coordinators, WCPO-9 TV reported.
