TROTWOOD — The City of Trotwood will be hosting a basketball tournament this weekend to raise awareness for cancer.

The first Hooping 4Hope Cancer Awareness Basketball Tournament will take place Sunday at Trotwood Madison High School from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. in the 4400 block of N. Union Road, the organization wrote on social media.

There will be a memorial table to decorate in honor of a loved one who has either passed away, survived, or currently has cancer.

Games are open to ages five or older.

There will also be an All-Star Game at 3 p.m. featuring former NBA players Daequan Cook and Joe Thomasson, as well as college and local players.

Celebrity coaches will be on hand as well as community leaders and business owners.
