Abbott Nutrition is one of four manufacturers that combined make 90% of the country’s formula.
The plant shut down back in February after being linked to infections.

Abbott is supposed to prioritize making its ELeCare formula for babies with severe food allergies and digestive problems.
The reopening comes at the same time President Biden is using foreign aid to bring in millions of bottles of baby formula.
This should allow for parents to see shelves stocked back up.
Parents should be able to buy formula again in roughly three weeks.
