WAYNE TWP., Warren County — Five people were injured in a two-vehicle, head-on crash on state Route 73 east of Waynesville in Warren County Wednesday morning, according to state troopers.

The crash was reported on state Route 73 near U.S. 42 around 7 a.m. Wednesday.
A preliminary investigation found a minivan traveled left of center and crashed head-on into an SUV, state troopers said.
At least one person in the minivan suffered serious injuries, investigators said. Three other occupants in the minivan and the driver of the SUV were also injured in the crash.
State troopers said the driver of the SUV was able to walk away from the crash and were transported for precautionary reasons.
Potential factors in the crash were still under investigation.
