4 COVID-19 cases reported in National Trail Local Schools, 34 people identified as close contacts

PREBLE COUNTY — The National Trail Local School District announced that four people within the facility tested positive for COVID-19.

Two of the people who tested positive are staff members, one an Elementary School staff member and the other a middle School staff member.

Additionally, two high schools students tested positive, according to a release from the school district.

Contact tracing was completed and thirty-four people were identified as close contacts in relation to the cases.

Thirty-one of the close contacts are high school students, one a middle school student and two staff members.

The four who tested positive for COVID-19 and those who are considered close contacts will be quarantining for 14 days.
