35th Annual adidas Warrior Soccer Classic Tournament continues today

DAYTON — Hundreds of players and thousands of spectators have filled the fields in greater Dayton for the 35th annual adidas Warrior Soccer Classic Tournament.

The event is billed as one of the largest soccer tourneys in the country, bringing in over 10,000 players, family members, and spectators.

277 teams are set to compete at two sites; Warrior Soccer Complex and Thomas Cloud Park.

Chris Bess Warrior Soccer Club President states “We currently have 277 teams registered to play in this year’s tournament. Teams are coming from Canada, Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, West Virginia, and Kentucky.”

The tournament has grown from one featuring 150 teams in 1986 to more than 300.
