CAMDEN — The 33rd annual Camden’s Black Walnut Festival is taking place this weekend after being canceled last year due to the pandemic.
The festival kicked off October 16th, on North Lafayette Street this year.
Today, October 17th, gates open at 9:00 a.m. and close at 5:00 p.m.
There will be 120 craft, antique and other vendors with 14 food vendors at the event.
A kidding tractor pull is scheduled to take place at 1:00 p.m. Sunday.
There will also be a beer garden set for 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. according to their website.
“We wanted this year’s Festival to make up for the lack of one last year and life’s craziness since. We think it will do that and then some,” said Debbie Mason, Communications Chair for Camden Comeback, who assumed the organizational reins for the Festival this year.
