DAYTON — A 25-year-old man has been charged with felonious assault in a shooting that occurred on Otterbein Avenue Thursday, according to court records.

John Aaron Evans reportedly went to the area of Otterbein Avenue and Stanford Place to drop off some clothing.
When he arrived, an argument allegedly began between him and the victim.

Court records show that Evans is accused of shooting the victim once in the leg.
Evans turned himself into the police where he remains in custody.
