2 people transported to hospital after accident involving Amazon truck in Greene County

Two people were transported to the hospital after an accident involving a car and an Amazon truck in Greene County Sunday afternoon.

An OSP trooper told News Center 7 that a gold Chevy Malibu was driving west on Jasper Rd. when an Amazon truck driving southbound down Parker Rd. failed to yield and pulled into the intersection.

The Malibu then struck the Amazon truck and became disabled in the roadway.

The Amazon truck travelled off of the south side of the road, struck a tree stump, overturned, hit a rock, and came to a rest on its wheels.

Both drivers were transported to Jamestown Emergency Center with non-life threatening injuries.

The driver of the Amazon truck that failed to yield will be cited, according to OSP.
