HARRIS COUNTY, Texas — A 12-year-old is facing charges after leading police on a chase and crashing into a yard in Texas.

The boy stole the vehicle before plowing into a yard about a mile away in Harris County, Texas, ABC13 in Houston reported.
The homeowner told ABC13 she was inside her house when she heard a loud noise, looked out the window, and saw deputies with their guns drawn.

Charges were not filed by the owner of the stolen vehicle, Fox 26 reported.
However, charges were accepted for evading against the child.
Fox 26 reported the 12-year-old was processed and released to their mother.
