DAYTON — One person is injured after a vehicle crashed into a building in downtown Dayton.
At approximately 7:16 p.m., regional dispatch received reports of a vehicle into a structure on the 500 block of E. First Street.
A silver pick-up truck crashed into the back of the former Proto BuildBar, causing significant damage.

Dispatchers said the victim was transported to Miami Valley Hospital. Their condition is unknown.
A building inspector was also on scene, according to dispatchers. A Dayton Fire Chief on scene told News Center 7 that they expect more structural damage once the truck is removed from the building.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
