Habitat for Humanity home dedicated in Sidney; keys given to family

Now more than ever, Habitat for Humanity’s work is critical. During the COVID-19 pandemic Habitat for Humanity continues to work toward their vision of a world where everyone has a decent place to live.

On Thursday morning, a Habitat home was dedicated in the 700 block of Broadway in Sidney.

Dozens of volunteers followed strict COVID guidelines as they worked for the past eight months to complete the three bedroom, ADA compliant house.

Habitat homeowners worked alongside volunteers and achieve strength and independence they need to build a better life for their families.

The title sponsor, Cloypay Corporation, was joined by a long list of other businesses who were recognized by Habitat for Humanity of Miami and Shelby counties during the dedication ceremony.

Keys to the home were present to Marie Strunk and her family.
