COLUMBUS, Ohio — As Ohio enjoys fall traditions, Gov. Mike DeWine is sending a clear message: Spread the fun, not the virus.
“Our problem is community spread,” DeWine said during his news conference Tuesday.

He is urging people to avoid gatherings with people outside of their household. That goes for Halloween and watching Ohio State football games.
“What I see in Ohio is we’re not heading in the right direction, we’re heading in the wrong direction,” DeWine said.
Just four days away from Halloween, he said every county in the Miami Valley has a high incidence of COVID-19. Auglaize County is second on the state’s list. Mercer County is third.
“Let’s enjoy the season. Let’s enjoy the game. But let’s not get the virus because of it,” DeWine said.
