The city of Centerville is exploring its options to make sure there are fire and emergency medical service coverage for the Cornerstone of Centerville, where the new Costco is located.
Sections of Wilmintgon Pike and Feedwire Roads would also be left uncovered as of Feb. 1, 2015, when Sugarcreek Fire Department changes to Sugarcreek Fire District.
One possibility discussed at a Centerville city council work session on Monday night would be to create a Centerville Fire District to cover those uncovered areas.
Centerville’s mayor, during the informal session of council, said those areas in danger of being uncovered will be covered.
