UPDATE @ 11:20 a.m.
The suspect got away with an undetermined amount of cash, according to Sgt. Shawn Smiley, with the Dayton Police Department.
The robbery occurred around 9:10 a.m.
The suspect entered the bank, approached a teller with a note, indicating he had a gun and demanding money. No weapon was displayed, Smiley said.
The suspect exited the bank through the Main Street side doors and fled on foot in an unknown direction.
There were no customers in the bank; only employees, Smiley said.
Smiley said police have a person of interest, and detectives are talking to him.
“It’s unknown at this time if he’s going to be the suspect or not,” Smiley said.
The suspect is described as a black male, 20-25 years old, 5-foot-10, medium build, unshaven facial hair, wearing a black or dark blue hooded sweatshirt and black high-top shoes with white or gray designs on the bottom.

There is a report of a robbery at the Fifth Third Bank in downtown Dayton.
The incident was reported around 9:15 a.m. at 1 S. Main Street.
