Kieran Chandre Furness, 28, of Columbus, was sentenced Wednesday to 12 years in prison on federal charges stemming from four home invasion robberies in the Dayton-area in 2019, a DOJ spokesperson said in a media release.
Furness, along with four other men, targeted drug dealers during the robberies at homes in Dayton, Trotwood, and Harrison Twp. in January 2019, the spokesperson said.
Court records indicate Furness and the four other men would bound the ankles and wrists of both adults and children in the homes they broke into, the spokesperson said. The robbers also pointed guns at the victims forcing them to lie face-down on the floor.
