Gov. DeWine appoints Adolfo Tornichio to Greene County Court of Common Pleas

GREENE COUNTY — Gov. Mike DeWine announced the appointment of Adolfo Tornichio to the Greene County Court of Common Pleas, General Division.

Tornichio, of Beavercreek, will be replacing Judge Michael Buckwater. He will assume office March 1.

After three years as a county law clerk, Tornichio was an Assistant Greene County Prosecuting Attorney for 16 years, representing the county in many felony-related cases, a release from the governor’s office stated.

Most recently, Tornichio served as a judge in the Greene County Court of Common Pleas, Juvenile Division; presiding over cases involving delinquency, children services, criminal and legal custody, and more.

Tornichio graduated from Wright State University with a bachelor’s degree in political science before he moved on to earn his law degree from the University of Toledo.

Tornichio currently chairs the Greene County Bar Association By-Laws Committee.
