Deputies: Man makes off with prescription drugs after robbing CVS Pharmacy in Harrison Twp.

HARRISON TWP. — Deputies continue to search for a man who is accused of robbing a Harrison Twp. CVS Pharmacy at gunpoint and taking prescription drugs, according to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office.

Units were dispatched around 9:20 a.m. to the store at 4901 North Main Street after the robbery was reported.

The robber, described as being about 6-foot-tall with a thin build, entered the store and demanded prescription drugs. After stealing the prescription drugs, the robber ran off, investigators said.

Emergency scanner traffic indicated a K-9 officer was requested to attempt to track the suspect.

No injuries were reported and additional details were not released.
