Car crashes into mini mart in Dayton; No injuries reported

DAYTON — Police responded to the scene of a crash after a vehicle smashed into a building in Dayton Tuesday night.

Dayton Police officers and firefighters were dispatched around 9:35 p.m. to the 1900 block of E Fifth Street on initial reports of a car into a building, according to Montgomery County Regional Dispatcher.

An iWitness 7 viewer sent a photo and video of the crash showing a car crashed into the main entrance of the K Food Mart.

Dispatchers told News Center 7 there were no injuries and no one was taken to the hospital. Dispatch records indicated the driver was uncooperative, however a Dayton police spokesperson later told News Center 7 the driver was cooperative with officers on the scene.

No arrests were made and a damage estimate was not released.
