Thief smashes into Sammy’s Market in Dayton, grabs lottery tickets

DAYTON — A thief smashed out a glass door Sunday morning to break into Sammy’s Market in Dayton.

Dayton police were called around 1:30 a.m. to an alarm at the business, 3705 Wayne Ave.

A plastic shelf with lottery tickets was stolen from the market, according to the Dayton police report.
