A 55-year-old man remains jailed on $75,000 bond in connected to a robbery last week at a CVS Pharmacy in Kettering.
Obet Jennings Jr. is scheduled to appear Monday morning in Kettering Municipal Court. He was arrested after police were called around 4:30 p.m. Thursday to the pharmacy, 1785 Woodman Drive, on a report that a shoplifter was yelling, cursing and throwing items at the clerks.
When officers arrested Jennings, he was yelling and cursing at them, too. Officers also reported finding several items stolen from the store on Jennings’ person, police said.
Jennings was booked into the Montgomery County Jail on suspicion of robbery, a felony; criminal damaging, a misdemeanor; and for a possible parole violation. The Montgomery County Prosecutor’s Office approved the charges Friday, police said.
