State assists Xenia police in auto shop probe

Xenia police searched an auto shop business Tuesday as part of a criminal investigation that involves the Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles.

Police would not talk about what prompted a search warrant executed Tuesday at Mainstream Automotive, 1865 W. Second St.

Officers were at the location for approximately four hours.

No one was arrested and it's unclear if anything was removed from the business.

Police would only say the state BMV is assisting their investigators and any potential charges are being reviewed by the prosecutor's office.
