Oakwood nurse indicted in Kettering Medical Center drug theft case

An Oakwood woman was indicted Tuesday on multiple charges involving drug thefts from Kettering Medical Center.

Gordana Bridgman, 48, a registered nurse, is ordered to appear June 25 for arraignment in Montgomery County Common Pleas Court.

According to her grand jury indictment, of the 11 charges against her, nine are felonies, including:

  • Six counts of theft of drugs from Kettering Medical Center for incidents between Oct. 1, 2018, and Jan. 13, 2019;
  • Two counts of tampering with drugs, also involving Kettering Medical Center, for incidents between Jan. 1, 2018, and Jan. 13, 2019; and
  • One count of illegal possessing of drug documents between Jan. 1, 2018, through Jan. 13, 2019.

She also faces two misdemeanor counts of possession of a dangerous drug.

Bridgman is a registered nurse formerly employed by Kettering Health Network whose license — not set to expire until Oct. 31, 2019 — is inactive, according to the Ohio Board of Nursing website. No board action has been taken.
