A 26-year-old man was stabbed in the leg while walking in an alley near Germantown Street Saturday morning.
The victim told officers a male wearing a red shirt attacked him for no apparent reason around 11:25 a.m. , according to the Dayton police report.
They wrestled and then the victim felt a sharp pain in his right thigh, looked down and saw that he'd been stabbed, possibly by a small pocket knife, according to the report.
He was taken by squad to Miami Valley Hospital.
The attacker didn't demand anything and didn't try to take anything from the victim, according to the report.
Police said officers searched for the described suspect but didn't find him.
