Medics revived a 30-year-old man who reportedly overdosed on heroin Wednesday around 9:50 p.m. at the Wendy’s restaurant at 2944 Harshman Rd., near Brandt Pike.
The man, Timothy Stewart, was resuscitated and transported to the hospital for “an extended and unknown amount of time,” the report indicates.
One officer reported that he found a full heroin cap in Stewart’s hoodie sweatshirt. Police were searching the restroom for drug paraphernalia and found nothing. Later, a woman who was described as Stewart’s friend was questioned. She initially claimed she didn’t know anything about the drugs. Later after more questioning, she turned over a syringe she claimed she found on the floor next to the man.
Stewart received a summons arrest for felony drugs and drug abuse instruments. Stewart is not listed in jail as of Thursday 4 p.m.
