An Englewood man pleaded guilty to sexually molesting a child and terrorizing several others at his home before driving them to their mother's house in Trotwood and threatening her at gunpoint.
The incident happened Sept. 11, 2012 and Jason Johnston Sr., 33, has been held in the Montgomery County Jail in lieu of $1M bond since then.
He was scheduled to go on trial next week but changed his plea instead.
Johnston was convicted in Montgomery County Common Pleas Court of six counts of kidnapping, one count of felonious assault, one count of sexual battery, one count of rape, one count of gross sexual imposition and two counts of aggravated menacing.
Police said he tied up the three children and held them at gunpoint while molesting one of them. Englewood police Sgt. Mike Lang said days after the incident that Johnston had no prior history of violence and went from, "0 to 100 in a short amount of time."
He will be sentenced on Nov. 26. If given consecutive sentences on all felonies, including three-year firearm specifications, Johnston would be facing more than 90 years in prison.
