BOTKINS — Police in Botkins said a person who broke into a Dollar General store left empty-handed.
Officers were first dispatched to the store at 108 South Main Street after receiving an alarm from the business at 5:18 a.m.
Investigators said the burglar used a pry bar and made entry through a side door. Surveillance video showed the suspect attempt to break into the safe but was unsuccessful.
After being in the store for a little over a minute, the suspect left the store with nothing.
