Coronavirus: Free COVID-19 testing available in Springfield beginning today

SPRINGFIELD — Two free COVID-19 pop-up testing sites are available in Springfield this week.

Anyone can get a no-cost test without an appointment or doctor referral Tuesday and Friday, according to a press release from the Ohio Department of Health.

The first testing site will be at the Rocking Horse Community Health Center, located at 651 S. Limestone St., on Tuesday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

The second site will be held at Life in Christ Community Church, located at 1100 Sunset Ave., on Friday from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.

The pop-up testing sites throughout Ohio are located in underserved areas but are open to anyone, according to the press release.
