Skies will become mostly clear overnight, although it will be another cool night with temperatures falling into the lower 40s by morning, StormCenter 7 Chief Meteorologist Eric Elwell said.
Friday: Mostly sunny skies are expected with warmer temperatures arriving. Highs will top out near 70 degrees.
Saturday: The day will start with partly cloudy skies and mild temperatures. Clouds will increase with the threat for showers and storms developing toward evening. Showers will linger into Saturday night. Highs will top out in the middle to upper 70s before the rain arrives.
Mother's Day: Skies will start out mostly sunny with some increase in clouds south of Interstate 70. There is a chance for a passing shower or storm in the southern Miami Valley by Sunday afternoon as a warm front slowly shifts into our area from the south. Highs will be in the upper 60s.
Monday: Partly cloudy skies are expected with mild temperatures. A few showers or storms will be possible. Highs will be in the lower 70s.
Tuesday: Expect a mix of sun and clouds with scattered showers and thunderstorms. A few storms could be strong. Highs will be in the middle to upper 70s.
