Following a requirement from the FCC, WHIO-TV has made changes to our SAP, or “Secondary Audio Program” channel. You may be hearing descriptive audio along with some of the programs you are watching on Channel 7.
This service is offered to make our programming available for those who are blind or visually impaired and describes what is happening on some CBS programs. This also includes adding a Spanish language option for some shows. If you don’t want to hear these programs in Spanish, then refer to your television manual for instructions, and switch the audio language on your TV to “English.”
