Cedarville University receives $12M Gift

CEDARVILLE, Ohio — Officials with Cedarville University announced on Friday that the university received a $12 million anonymous gift.

According to a press release from the school, Cedarville University is in the early stages of a comprehensive fundraising effort that will expand the campus, increase scholarships, increase the student experience and to be able to be sustainable in the future.

Cedarville University President Dr. Thomas White said, “This investment demonstrates a trust and confidence in Cedarville’s future. We commit to steward these resources well as we provide new facilities and programs that will expand opportunities to equip graduates for Gospel impact.”

In 2019, Cedarville University received a $10 million contribution that was the lead gift for the Lorne C. Scharnberg Business Center.

As a result of these gifts and the other faithful university partners, Cedarville University continues to implement its master plan.
