Construction of roundabout at Troy intersection set to start next week

The City of Troy will begin construction of a roundabout at the intersection of Dorset Road and McKaig Avenue, in about one week, beginning on Tuesday May 28.

The approximately $2 million project is scheduled to take 80 days and will be funded, in part, by a grant from the Ohio Public Works Commission.

The intersection at Troy Christian Schools was previously controlled as a four-way stop with a set of four flashing red lights.

The city chose to install a roundabout instead of a traffic light.
