Paul A. Grierson, 52, of Carlisle, was listed in fair condition tonight at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton.
He is the driver of a truck that collided with a moving train Friday night in Carlisle.
Ohio Highway Patrol emergency dispatchers said an investigation into the crash is ongoing and a report is not yet available.

The 52-year-old man who was driving a truck and collided with a moving train in Carlisle remains in critical condition at Miami Valley Hospital.

A 52-year-old Carlisle man is at Miami Valley Hospital with life-threatening injuries this morning after the truck he was driving crashed into a moving train, according to Sgt. James Sparkman with the Ohio Highway Patrol Lebanon Post.
Sparkman said the Ford F-150 the man was driving struck a railroad gate before slamming into two of the last cars on the CSX-owned train.
The 52-year-old was taken by Careflight from the scene of the crash to Miami Valley Hospital. Sparkman said he was told by hospital staff early Saturday that the man is currently listed in critical condition.
The truck the man was driving sustained heavy front-end damage, according to Sparkman, and the train involved will have to undergo significant repair.
Sparkman said the Carlisle man was unresponsive at the scene when crews first arrived due to either intoxication or injury.
Deputies smelled alcohol on the man's breath but it is unknown if this was a contributing factor in the crash, according to Sparkman.
UPDATE @ 11:54 p.m. (Feb. 3)One victim, a male, has been extricated from the wreckage.
There is no word on the victim's condition. Rescuers worked about 30 minutes in freeing him. CareFlight is standing by.
The train involved in the collision apparently didn't stop and is nowhere to be seen.
A trooper with the Ohio Highway Patrol said the train just went through and didn't stop.
FIRST REPORT
Police and fire/rescue crews are on the scene of a train vs. truck accident at the CSX RR tracks and Fairview Drive in Carlisle.
The accident was reported about 11:15 p.m. and we're hearing that someone may be trapped in the wreckage.
CareFlight has been dispatched as well.
