DAYTON — One person hit at least once in a shooting Tuesday afternoon in the 100 block of Central Avenue has been taken to a hospital.
Dayton police are asking the public for help in tracking down the suspect or suspects in the shooting, which was reported about 3:22 p.m.
The victim's condition is not known but his injuries are believed to be non-life threatening, a police sergeant said.
Police have found a few cooperating witnesses and a K-9 brought on scene located several shell casings, the sergeant said.
