Males found dead in Beavercreek home result of ‘domestic related incident,’ police say

BEAVERCREEK — The deaths of two males found Tuesday afternoon in a home on Roselawn Drive in Beavercreek “appears to be some type of domestic related incident,” Beavercreek Police Capt. Shawn Sumner said in a statement to WHIO.

“Currently there is no concern for any additional suspect(s),” he said in response to an inquiry from WHIO.

Sumner said the investigation into what happened at the address, in the 3600 block of Roselawn Drive, is continuing. The bodies have been removed from the residence by the Greene County Coroner’s Office.

Initial police and fire radio dispatches indicate that police were sent to the address just after 4:30 p.m. on the report of two dead bodies, the captain said.

In an interview with News Center 7′s Sean Cudahy, a neighbor on Roselawn Drive said a woman who was checking on her brother found him and another male dead in the home.

The neighbor, Susie Thorbjornsson, said the man’s sister had tried to contact him on Sunday.

“Today, she came over. She said the door was partly open. She said she found them, both on the floor,” Thorbjornsson told News Center 7.

Thorbjornsson described the entire situation as “sad, tragic. Both.”

Finding a family member the way the woman did “would be one of the worst things that could happen to anyone,” Thorbjronsson said.

WHIO will continue to update this developing report.
