DAYTON — The Jeff Schmitt Auto Group gave away another free car July 1, the seventh free vehicle given in the past year.
The promotion was something the group started in 2019 to give back to its customer base in the Miami Valley.
“The Miami Valley has showed us great support over the years, and we are always looking for different ways to help our community,” Jay Schmitt said in a prepared statement Tuesday afternoon. “Giving some of our valued customers the opportunity to get their car for free is just another way for us to say thank you.”
The first winner was selected July 1, 2019. Since then there have been six winners from various locations in the Dayton area.
Every 60 days the auto group draws a random winner. Anyone who purchases a new or preowned vehicle during the contest period is entered to win.
