Coronavirus: What’s Next for Ohio? Mercer County Fair officials rejigger schedule

CELINA — The 2020 Mercer County Fair schedule has been shuffled because of the coronavirus and longer includes Grandstand events (concerts, band show, tractor pulls, demo derby), strolling entertainment, demonstrations or rides.

There will be events for Junior Fair kids and there will also be food vendors for the fair, which runs Aug. 14 - 20.

Fair organizers are asking for patience as they work out details about the Sawyer Brown and BlackHawk and for King & Country concerts. There is a lot of details when postponing an event, fair officials said.

Camping is permitted during the week of the fair. If you have previously canceled camping and would like to still camp this year, you are asked to contact the fair office by Aug. 6 at 4 p.m. If you forfeited your camping spot, parking in that location will not be permitted.
