Kylie Bridgeman
Reporter/Multi-Media Journalist
I first started watching the news with my Grandma Debbie when I spent summers with her as a kid; then I was introduced to what it meant to be a journalist in junior high. I haven’t looked back since. Now, I am a recent graduate of Ohio University, where I studied Journalism, News and Information, and Political Science. I am so excited to be living out my dreams here at WHIO-TV/News Center 7.
I grew up just South of the Miami Valley in Cincinnati, Ohio. Where I completed a three-year fellowship with the Emma Bowen Foundation at WLWT. I participated in coverage of everything from severe weather, the city’s growing concern of gun violence, and the 2024 presidential campaign trail.
Throughout college, I led multiple student organizations and became a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated in the Spring of 2023. I have a passion for serving my community not only through dependable, accurate news coverage, but also by participating in meaningful community efforts.
When I’m not chasing a story, I love to travel. I have been to 14 countries so far; my favorites include Cape Town, South Africa, Chiang Mai, Thailand, and Santorini, Greece. I also enjoy trying new restaurants and exploring the outdoors.
I am so excited to be here in the Miami Valley telling the stories that matter, impact our families, and strengthen your neighborhoods.
