WPAFB Thursday Weather: Morning Freeze Warning in effect, temps warm-up for the afternoon

WPAFB Wednesday Weather: Below freezing wind chill, possible passing showers

WRIGHT PATTERSON AIR FORCE BASE—A FREEZE WARNING is in effect to start the day with temperatures hovering near freezing this morning, said Storm Center 7 Chief Meteorologist Eric Elwell.

Lots of sunshine will allow for a milder afternoon. Temperatures are expected to rebound into the middle to upper 50s. It will not be as chilly tonight despite clouds remaining mostly clear. Clouds will increase Friday ahead of the next cold front.

Temperatures will make it back into the middle 60s before showers move into the area by evening. Showers will linger into Friday night with temperatures falling back into the 40s by Saturday afternoon.
