Frost Advisory issued for Northern Miami Valley; Passing sprinkles this weekend

A Frost Advisory has been issued for counties in the Northern Miami Valley from 2a.m until 9a.m Saturday.

The following counites are under the advisory: Auglaize, Champaign, Clark, Darke, Logan, Mercer, Miami, and Shelby

DETAILED FORECAST:

TODAY: A few clouds around this evening, a little breezy, and comfortably cool with temperatures falling through the 50s.

Winds diminish overnight with a few more clouds. Lows in the lower to middle 30s will cause frost to develop, especially north of Dayton.

A frost advisory will begin at 2am to 9am Saturday in these areas. Any sensitive vegetation/plants should be covered or brought indoors to prevent damage.

SATURDAY: A cold/frosty morning in the 30s followed by a near normal afternoon with highs approaching 60 degrees. Clouds will increase with the slight chance of a passing sprinkle, but most spots will stay dry.

SUNDAY: A similar story to Saturday with a little more sunshine through the day. Very small chance for an isolated shower. Highs in the upper 50s to around 60 degrees again.

MONDAY: A cold morning in the upper 30s. Sun and clouds through the day with highs in the lower to middle 60s.

TUESDAY: A dry start to Tuesday, but a cold front will bring rain shower to the region by late day, and possibly a wintry mix to snow into the night. Highs around 60 early in the day then dropping quickly.

WEDNESDAY: Mostly cloudy with a passing rain or mix shower possible Wednesday. Highs in the upper 40s.
