DETAILED FORECAST:

TONIGHT: Clear skies and cool temperatures overnight, but not as cold as Wednesday night. Looking ahead to temperatures in the upper 30s to lower 40s by daybreak Friday, according to Storm Center 7 Chief Meteorologist McCall Vrydaghs.

FRIDAY: A nice end to the week. Temperatures will be back to normal in the upper 60s. Lots of sun and dry for Touchdown 7 football games. It will be a windy afternoon with some gusts about 25 mph. So, with the dry and windy conditions, there will be an elevated risk for brush fires to develop. It’s possible the National Weather Service may issue a Red Flag Warning. Either way, it’s advised to limit any outdoor burning.

SATURDAY: A mostly sunny and a bit breezy, but comfortably warm. Highs in the mid-70s.

SUNDAY: Sunny and dry. Highs in the middle 70s which is warmer than normal.

MONDAY: Another quiet day. Highs in the middle 70s. Breezy with scattered clouds.

TUESDAY: Mostly cloudy and windy with a high around 70. A few showers possible Tuesday night, but a better chance arrives Wednesday.

WEDNESDAY: Partly sunny with a few showers arriving. Breezy and mild with highs in the lower 60s.

THURSDAY: Decreasing clouds and a bit cooler with highs in the upper 50s.
