Wintry mix tomorrow, Area Flood Watch issued for Monday

An Area Flood Watch has been issued for Butler, Clinton, Greene, Montgomery, Preble, Warren and Wayne (Indiana) counties from Monday, Feb. 11, at 7 a.m. to Tuesday, Feb. 12, at 1 p.m.

Tonight: Mostly clear skies and cold with lows in the upper teens.

Sunday: Clouds increase quickly during the day with highs in the upper 30s. Snow creeps in for the afternoon, quickly switching to a rain snow/freezing rain mixture by the evening time. Ice accumulation less than 0.1 of an inch. Around an inch of snow is possible to accumulate, two inches at most (mainly north).

Monday: The chance to see freezing rain and snow showers possible into the early morning hours, then quickly transitioning into rain showers for the majority of the day. Highs will be in the upper 30s. Flooding will be possible as we will see accumulative rainfall.

Tuesday: Lingering rain showers into the afternoon. Warmer with temperatures in the lower 50s.

Wednesday: Snow showers possible. Mostly cloudy and colder with temperatures in the upper 30s.

Thursday: Increasing clouds and the chance to see rain showers late with highs in the upper 40s.
