— Cloudy with a Chance of Podcast is back and Meteorologist Kirstie Zontini and Chief Meteorologist McCall Vrydaghs are talking about a snowstorm ... but not in Ohio. A few weeks ago, a snowstorm affected the southeastern United States from the Carolinas up through Virginia.
They sat down with morning meteorologist Keith Monday from WSOC-TV in Charlotte, N.C., to talk about how challenging it was to forecast snow in a state that doesn’t deal with it this early. Monday said North Carolina has interesting terrain that made this system difficult to forecast and track.
Charlotte has not been spared from some wild weather: two hurricanes, a “pre-winter” snowstorm and flooding has kept Monday busy.
