BROOKLYN, NY — The Dayton Flyers advanced to the semifinals of the 2023 Atlantic 10 Championship as they beat the Saint Joseph’s Hawks, 60-54, Thursday evening at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.

Toumani Camara led UD with a double-double, 17 points and 18 rebounds. He made 5-11 shots, including 3-4 from three-point range.
DaRon Holmes II also had 17 points while Malachi Smith added 11.
The Flyers improve to 21-11 overall.
Dayton’s next game will be Saturday afternoon and play Fordham in the A-10 semifinals.

The Rams beat LaSalle, 69-61, in the last A-10 quarterfinals of the day.
The semifinal teams will have closed practices Friday at the Barclays Center.
VCU will play Saint Louis Saturday afternoon at 1 p.m. while Dayton battles Fordham at 3:30 p.m.
UD beat the Rams on January, 82-58.
