Dayton No. 2 seed in this week’s Atlantic 10 Tournament in Brooklyn

BROOKLYN, NY — The Dayton Flyers have finished the regular season and will be the no. 2 seed in this week’s Atlantic 10 men’s basketball championship at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.

Their first game will be in the quarterfinals late Thursday afternoon at 5 p.m.

UD will play one of three teams: George Washington, Loyola or St. Joseph’s. The Colonials are the no. 7 seed and will face the winner of the Ramblers and Hawks on Wednesday.

VCU is the no. 1 seed. Fordham is the no. 3 seed and Saint Louis is no. 4.

The Flyers finished the regular season at 20-11 overall, 12-6 in the Atlantic 10.

The first two rounds will be March 7-8 and the quarterfinals follow on Thursday. There will be a final four practice on Friday.

The Atlantic 10 semifinals will be Saturday, March 11 and the championship game will be Sunday, March 12.

The title game will be televised on Channel 7.
