No Dayton Flyer men’s basketball game on Sunday

DAYTON — The University of Dayton has announced there will be no men’s basketball game played at the UD Arena on Sunday. Dayton’s game with St. Bonaventure was postponed due to the Bonnies being in Covid protocols.

The Flyers pursued a replacement for that game. UD’s next scheduled game is Wednesday January 5th when they host VCU at the UD Arena.

The UD Athletic department announced that single-game holiday ticket purchasers for Sunday’s game will be refunded or credited for the last remaining holiday against VCU on a first-come, first-served basis but limited to availability.

They said it is the intention of the Atlantic 10 to reschedule postponed conference games. The UD Arena Ticket Office will communicate with season ticketholders at the end of the season regarding refunds and credits, depending on if any games are eventually canceled.

Coverage of Dayton’s next scheduled game against VCU on Wednesday night begins at 6 pm, tip-off is at 7 pm and Flyer Feedback will follow the game on the home of the Flyers; 1290 and 95-7, WHIO.
