He is the Browns’ nominee for the league’s Art Rooney Sportsmanship Award, which recognizes players around the league, “who exemplify outstanding sportsmanship on the field.”

One player from each team is nominated for the award and Chubb has been selected by the Browns since 2019.

Eight finalists, four from both the AFC and NFC, will be selected from a NFL Legends Community panel, according to the league.

The winner will be announced at the NFL Honors ceremony and receive a $25,000 donation from the NFL Foundation to the charity of their choosing.

The Browns are in action Sunday when they host the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at FirstEnergy Stadium in Cleveland.

Kickoff is at 1 p.m. The game will be broadcast on WHIO Radio.
